Itinerary

Wadi Dana Hike & Wilderness Camping

📍 MEETING POINT: Dana Village.

↔️  DISTANCE: 17 km.

🕝  TIME: 6-7 hours.

⛰️ TERRAIN: Gradual descent:Sandstone & limestone gorges

Your adventure begins in the charming stone village of Dana, perched on the edge of Jordan’s largest nature reserve. After meeting your guide and getting a short briefing, you’ll begin your descent into Wadi Dana.

The trail winds through dramatic cliffs, layered rock formations, and open landscapes rich in flora and fauna.

Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before continuing deeper into the reserve.

In the late afternoon, you’ll reach a peaceful camping spot surrounded by nature. Relax, unwind, and enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner as the stars begin to light up the desert sky.

Overnight: Wild camping (fully equipped).

Wadi Ghuweir Hike & Return

⛰️ TERRAIN: A lush, narrow canyon with natural springs and hanging gardens.

Wake up to fresh air and a warm breakfast before setting off into a completely different world.

 

Today’s hike takes you through the lush, narrow canyon of Wadi Ghuweir — famous for its natural springs, palm trees, and occasional waterfalls.

 


You’ll walk along shallow streams, scramble over rocks, and take in the cool, shaded beauty of this hidden oasis. The trail gradually opens up as you exit the canyon, where your driver will meet you for
your return transfer.
