⛰️ TERRAIN: Gradual downhill through rocky trails and wadis.
Your adventure begins at Dana Village, a charming stone-built village overlooking the stunning Dana Valley. The trail descends through lush greenery, passing through terraced farms and scenic viewpoints. Along the way, you’ll encounter wildlife such as ibex and birds of prey.
You’ll arrive at Wadi Feynan, a remote desert area known for its copper mining history. We will visit a Bedouin family to get our lunch and learn more about their history and culture , then we will leave Wadi Feynan and trek across desert landscapes, passing through dramatic gorges and canyons.
The scenery becomes more rugged, with towering cliffs and hidden oases. You’ll also pass several Bedouin camps, where you can interact with locals and learn about their traditional lifestyle.
Arrive at Wadi Malaga, where will be our team setting up the camp and enjoy a traditional Bedouin meal under the stars. Overnight wildness camping.

This is one of the most challenging sections of the hike. The trail takes you through steep ascents and descents, crossing remote valleys and rugged terrain.
You’ll pass through narrow gorges and climb rocky ridges with panoramic viewsof the desert landscape. Arrive at Ras Al-Feid, a secluded campsite surrounded by towering cliffs. Relax and recover from the challenging hike with a delicious Bedouin dinner. Overnightwildness camping.

On this day, the trail leads you closer to Petra. You’ll pass through remote Bedouin camps and small villages before reaching Little Petra (Siq al-Barid), a smaller version of Petra with ancient rock-cut structures. Explore the Nabatean ruins and caves in this hidden gem, which is less crowded than the main Petra site.

The final day of the hike is one of the most rewarding. You’ll enter Petra through a less-traveled route, avoiding the crowds. The trail leads you to The Monastery (Al-Deir), one of Petra’s most iconic structures, carved into the sandstone cliffs.
